I treated myself to a Bose music system. The first thing I did was listen to NPR for an hour or so.

Later on, after the rotiserrie chicken and vine tomatoes and goats cheese (by the way.. no matter how snowy white it looks and no matter how terribly velvity it seems, it still tastes like goat, on a hot day, in Buenes Aires) and half a glass of pinot, I put in Etta James and cranked it up to volume number 50. Ah, the bliss. Ah, the ear-gasm. This was definately worth it.
