tsunami

I saw a couple of Discovery Channel shows about the tsunami this afternoon.

I can't write about death again. Something made me check the entry I wrote on December 23 and it referenced disasters and the guilt feelings that are experienced by the survivors. So I'm trying to remember a single time when a major disaster that COULD have been avoided actually WAS. My memory isn't good, I know, but I can't remember even one time.

The mermaid in my picture is facing away from the ocean and I wish there was some way I could change that. Since I can't I guess I'll just have to keep my eye on the horizon for her.
