April 1 will become a family holiday for us, starting this year.

Look, we gotta start somewhere, so why not on April Fools Day? While everyone else is doing a. nothing b. something stupid like prank calling for a pubic hair pizza or hiding cell phone batteries or pretending to come out of the closet or c. recoving from a relentlessly impractical practical joke, we will be feasting and drinking and exchanging wonderful presents. Maybe we'll play Disney Monopoly and cherades like in the old days, laughing until we wet our pants.

Maybe we can move it to the first w/e of the month when it doesn't fall on a Saturday. Maybe it could become a tradition. The party, not the wet pants. That's ALREADY become a bit of the norm.
