VERY funny

This feels weird. Everything's coming together. And this is the first time in my life that've lived past the trouble into the ok and it's all new and strange.

A Tac0 Be11 commercial where a guy slips on a wet floor and cracks his tailbone reminded me of the time Joe flooded the bathroom at his hospital.

Joe was the golden boy for a while. Maybe for a couple of years, everyone inside and around the hospital knew him. But he wasn't feeling golden that week. He was sick with dia-RRHEA-chachacha. At work. You know how that sucks. Anyway, so he's made the executive decision to allow a bit of gas to escape while in the gift shop and oops it wasn't gas. Off to the bathroom, which is conveniently right around the corner. It's right off the lobby, which is the MAIN lobby of the entire hospital. Beautiful. Art deco. Black speckled marble floors, etc.

So, once inside the stall he realized that he had a teensy accident. And he did what anyone else would do. He took off his underware and tried to flush them down the toilet. He then went off, to find some hospital issue p.j. bottoms to wear under his slacks until he could get home to change. Once that was done, he headed back to his little office, and waited for his co-worker and secretary to come back from lunch.

Brenda, his secretary, is a personal friend from way back, so as he told me the story, I 'saw' the look on her face as he explained to her what happened, and then..... then I even 'saw' her bend over in hysterics as she tried to explain to Joe about what happened in the lobby afterward.

Apparently, Brenda left the gift shop 10 minutes after Joe did, and saw big yellow WET FLOOR signs and a giant puddle leaking away from the mens room. A hospital maintainance man was swabbing up the mess because apparently someone had tried to flush some army green underware down the toilet and backed up the entire plumbing operation.

Being golden has it's funny moments.
